Ugh……sorry?

ack! i’m sick…i don’t know how i got it….but i have a slight fever….weird coz i rarely go out of the house…and i was stuck at home all day yesterday trying to fix this damn computer…weird coz after a short power outage, the damn thing wouldn’t turn back on…so i go about trying to fix the pc (since my younger sister was going to go home to scan some stuff for this year’s shell competition) but two hours pass and i still couldn’t get it to work…and then she arrives….seeing the cpu lying on the carpet…with me desperately trying to find out what the problem was…

it wasn’t till 10:00 pm that i finally get the computer to work….unfortunately, it had this weird knack of rebooting every half hour or so…so sis and i decide to make the most out of the half hour we could use the pc…we got to scan all her images…and i got to check my mail….but finally, at 1:00 am…it died on me……AGAIN!?! just like what happened wednesday morning…it didn’t boot…

i try desperately to fix it but by 4:00am, i decided to call it quits coz i was starting to cough( damn allergies!!!….it think it was from the dust inside the cpu) and i could barely keep my eyes closed….

i woke up at 10:00am with a terrible cough and a really bad back ache(i think i need a new bed ;p)…with my computer still dead…4:00pm, i get this spliting headache so again, i call it quits….i collapse on our sofa and by 6:00pm, i wake up with a slight fever….hahahaha….by this time i think to myself, "things couldn’t possibly get any worse, right?" so i get back on the computer, play with a few connections….and guess what, the darned thing comes back from the dead….;p talk about weird days man….i’m still a bit sick though…;p

looks like people still forwarded the message even if i warned them about the prank…;p…still haven’t read anyone’s answers(although my sister has…) i found out from her that the webpage actually saves all the info on their site…unless i put a password to protect them…so far its password protected…still haven’t read anyone’s secrets…i’m kindda wondering who Bles and dumdum are though, they answered my questionaire but i didn’t send them any email…anyone know who they are…?

I must admitt…..i did make such a huge ASS of myself last night…i read this friend’s bulletin board on this supposed site which offers you a mathematical analysis on who your probable future love would be…went on to fill the questionaire up only to realize after submitting it that it was all a hoax designed so the friend who gave the link would receive all the date i just inputed…my initial reaction was "oh fuck did i just dish out my secrets?!?"….minutes pass…and then i think, "what if i try this on my other friends…?" so i go out and make an email with the same link to the site sending it out to everyone in my address book…but half way after pressing send i realize, shit, this ain’t right, so i press stop on the internet explorer bar…but the message still got sent…so far i’ve received 10 threatening emails from friends who now want to either skin me alive, or gut me like a fish…i know i deserve it for doing something stupid and not thinking it out first…but i haven’t read anything…sure all their questionaires got sent into my inbox…but i deleted all of them when i got them…mahirap rin buksan kahit na gusto kong malaman ang sikreto ng isang tao dahil wala namang nakasulat kung kaninong questionaire yun…opening one might reveal someone else’s private life….again, i’m sorry to everyone…if any of you get the email i sent with the title "check this out!!!"….please just delete it and don’t even try to open the link….you’ll regret it as i have…

Saturday

…was the second(also the last day) of the radio dubbing workshop i attended at old sta mesa. i had much more fun this day than the first day as by now everyone was a bit more comfortable interacting…had more dubbing excercises…although this time the focus was more on television and movie dubbing(yesterday’s focus was radio)…didn’t really get how different and more difficult t.v. dubbing was till i got a chance to do it myself….in radio, your only focus was the script, your voice and what type of emotion the director wanted you to portray…with t.v., we also had to watch the monitor to see when exactly the characters opened their mouths so we could synch our voices with theirs(hirap pala nun)….of course there was always an option for a retake, but since it was only a workshop, we had to do everything without that luxury…

…the workshop ended at 4pm although everyone else was still busy chatting i decided to leave as i might still make it to tita cam’s house for choral rehearsals…rode a jeep back to quiapo as it was the only route i knew to get to their house…but then i got stuck in traffic as the pro gloria rally at luneta had affected traffic flow up to espanya…went down near CEU and walked till the street before quiapo noticed that it’s the same street that merges with espanya so i walk to espanya thinking i might still be able to ride a bus or a jeep….30 minutes pass and i realize no jeep or bus was going to pass by (by now the streets were filled with passengers trying to get a ride)…so i decide to go home…i walk from my spot till the doroteo jose station of the LRT only to see more people waiting for the train to arrive so i flag down the first jeep that passes me by( ayus kasi wala pa siyang pasahero)… sat on the drivers side, payed my fare and fell asleep…got home at 9:30…took a bath and fell asleep on the couch with the tv still turned on…

Sunday

…woke up at 1:30am realizing i still had to make the comic strip for monday’s issue of bandera(back to work?!? can’t i sleep for 5 more minutes?!?)…didn’t get to work on it as mom and sis wanted to talk about some recent events(to private to discuss here although it doesn’t have anything to with any of my immediate family…)so i got started with the comic strip at 2:30….;p finished and submitted it by 4:00am, slept and woke up at 6:30am to get myself prepped for the 11:00am mass(yep this early…;p bibbo e)…didn’t think i sang okay today as i was only awake because of the two packets of extra joss i drank before leaving home…after lunch i went to my cousin’s birthday party at paranaque(i also had to do a bit of art tutoring for paeng, my 6 year old cousin)…the art tutorial went well…except for that when paeng asked me, "kailangan ba talagang gawin ito? kasi hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit…" i was teaching him basic pen handling(fingers at the point, the middle and ends of the pencil…that sortta thing)…didn’t think he’d get discouraged that easily as he shows a lot of potential as a visual artist…got home at 5pm, changed slcothes and went straight to bed…woke up at eight, ate dinner…watched some t.v. then i wrote this…i still feel the need to rest so i probably won’t be going out tomorrow….haay…sleepy time. . . .;p oooooohhhhh maybe i’ll watch annie tomorrow then….

…went out to old sta. mesa today…i had to look for this place where i’ll be attending a workshop on friday…it was a pretty weird experience….i was able to ride(for the 1st time ;p) the LRT2….i didn’t know where to go and how to buy tickets…and when i did get to buy one, the dipenser gave me 38pieces of 1 peso coins as change for my 50 peso bill…;p i got down at the pureza station (so what if it was a pretty short ride….first time naman e…;p) and went to look at the station’s location map…it looked like old sta mesa was a pretty short distance from the station so i decided to walk….reaching the main road(magsaysay avenue), i decide to ask a traffic aid for directions. he tells me "malapit lang yung old. sta mesa, diyan lang yun sa may traffic light" so i continue walking…(problem is, when someone says its pretty near i usually walk instead of ride the jeep….sayang kasi)…i later find out that i should have taken a jeepney to old. sta mesa…;p…it took me about twenty five minutes to walk there….sure it didn’t take that long…problem is, i was walking along magsaysay ave. at 10:45am(the smog plus the heat equals todo kadiring malagkit na libag at pawis ;p)…i got to the workshop venue only to find out that there wasn’t anyone there to entertain me(i should have called first)…okay na rin…coz it would have been pretty embarassing as i looked like a wet rag….the good thing is i now know how to get there…and besides the workshop start early (7:00am ata)…so even if i do walk from the station, it won’t be that hot ;p

…i was almost done with the apple sketches before i realized what i was doing…funny how quickly i made them when nowadays it takes a whole lot more time for me(an hour or so…;p) just to will myself to draw anything…today, all it took was her little plea…"teacher, aren’t you going to draw with me?"

D         : "hey DANito…beybe…,been here long?"

DANito : "hey D…, good of you to come…"

D         : "do i sense a bit of sarcasm in your tone…?"

DANito : "well you sure took your time getting here….i’ve been waiting forever

              for you…"

D         : "forever? its only been two hours…"

DANito : "has it only been two hours…?"

D         : "yep…don’t worry i won’t get mad that you call on me every few hours,

            i understand…loneliness can drive even the greatest of men insane…"

DANito : "thanks for understanding…and for always being there…come to think 

             of it, we’ve been friends for such a long time i don’t remember how we

              met…"

D         : "we didn’t meet….you made me up….remember…?"

DANito : "o shit!…i think i should start going out more…"

hmmmmm…..maybe i do need to go out more….;p

i grew up with mary poppins….grew up watching the movie on our old betamax player(its still here although not in working condition ;p) and listening to the songs(we didn’t have a soundtrack, mom was enough ;p)…i remember my mom singing "a spoon full of sugar" whenever we were sick and had to drink bitter tasting medicine / or when we were too lazy to clean our room…i remember her singing "supecalifragilisticexpialidocious" just to entertain us….the most memorable though was mom singing "stay awake" or "feed the birds" whenever she would put us to bed at night….watching the scene while listening to my mom say "naalala mo ba nung bata ka, kinakanta ko yan sa inyo bago kayo matulog…?" sure brought tears to my eyes….man those were the days….back then everything was happy around here…..;p

as usual…from the time the movie finished till she was about to sleep tonight…, she’s was singing nothing but tunes from this movie….haaay….so nice to see mom happy…

guess i’ll be watching annie tomorrow…..;p

i was going to write this blog this morning (about 2:00am since i usually post stuff at that time ;p) but i seem to have over slept(seem too? i woke up at 9:00)…it was bound to happen though as i had only three hours to sleep on sunday…

i was unusually tired from my commute going home after choir rehearsals last saturday so i decided to sleep for two hours…i woke up at 10:00pm feeling refreshed so i went on with my usual evening routine of checking emails, then coloring some comicbook pages, watching a movie(watched the first half of get shorty on dvd)…and finally checking my email again if the comic strip had finally arrived…

it was already 1:00am when i checked my mail again….weird thing thouugh, the next comic strip for buhay artista hadn’t arrived yet(it was usually sent at around 11 or 12)…so i decided to watch get short’s finally half…i could have sworn i remembered hearing from mic that he’d send the comic strip minutes after he called me up a few hoours before…but by 3:00am, it still hadn’t arrived…so i decided to sleep it out…

i woke up at 6:00am with a sense of urgency as i had to do the colors and text plus submitt the comic strip before going out for mass…but then, the computer wouldn’t start…..ARRRGGHHHH!!!! had to f***ing fix the whole thing (ate up almost an hour) before i got to work on the next comic strip….finished with coloring and stuff at 8:00am so i still had an hour to relax before going to church…..

got to church and found out my cousin carlo was going to have a party so i decided to come along with tito pab, tita cam and bea(weeeeee)…didn’t want to ride with the cruz family since i would get there at an earlier time and would have to keep pace with my cute but very very rowdy little cousins(rafa and migz)…at least teenee didn’t forget about the dvds i so wanted to borrow (weeeee thanks a million!!!!!!) haven’t watced them yet though….

got to better living at about 3:00 and was immediately wrestled by rafa and migz…managed to keep pace with the two of them while taking care of bea till about 5:00pm….by then i realized i’d have to rest soon….

and then tita cam decides she really wants to buy some lapid’s chicharon(she was already craving for them before we got to better…) so tito pab goes to the car to prep it up for the trip out….but then the wheels get stuck on this freak sand trap so we had to dig and push their car out(this took out almost all my remaining energy ;p) so by the time they left, i had to lay on one of the sofas to relax…good thing though, all the little kids went with them…

30 minutes go by…and then they get back…you hear it, the moment the car turns and the side doors open….the rumbling footsteps of little kids running toward you like a stampede(AAAAHHHHH!!!!)…another thirty minutes and i would have at least had enough rest to make it till midnight…but that would be too much to ask for(besides, i should have just slept it all off at 1 or 2:00 am, instead of watching get shorty’s second half ;p)

the plus side of it all though, was when the three kids noticed that i was already tired…it was already 6:00pm and the old ones were prepping the table for dinner….i was on the sofa…little bea approaches me and says "kuya…wawa" she then kisses my lips(awww….;p)…she does this again several more times…and then little migz notices it too…he kisses my lips too(awww)….very touching moment(parang nagpasalamat sa isang araw na pagtiyaga ko sa paghabol sa kanila)…

we had dinner at 7:00pm…funny coz bea was asking me to feed her(she even went four steps up the stairs just to get to me)…so i did…i had to give her back to her mom after a few minutes coz she got herself really wet when she tried to drink all her juice up and instead poured it all on her sando….;p

got home at 7:30pm only to find out that my mom didn’t have the keys…she told me she left the back door open so i went out back(up the side fence and squeezed myself between the sampayan…)only to find that the back door was closed…(GRAGHHHH!!!!) good thing my sis and dad arrived after 10 minutes or else i would have freaked out….;p

went to bed at 8:00pm thinking i would wake-up at 11:00….but instead i woke up this morning at 9:00am…hmmmm….what to do, what to do?…i guess i’ll watch a dvd before i do any more things(hehehehehe)

I’m back to teaching art again….woohoo!!!!…didn’t think i’d ever go back to teaching after leaving wayie’s group…i’m teaching art to this young girl, little miss nina martinez, she’s only 10 but she’s very talented and very much willing to learn art(she’s also my mom’s piano student)…she’s very upbeat and talkative…and she was smiling the whole hour of our art lessons…we didn’t really do much today since i had to first see what she could do and what she knows so i could adjust my teaching method….;p i did give her several assignments though….practices on drawing lines, arcs and circles….so she could easily handle a pencil…;p can’t wait for next week ;p
