see the money meter? if only it were true…because as of now, a don’t have a cent on me….my plans to watch beauty and the beast and that pinoy blonde concert on friday night plus war of the worlds have all dissappeared from sight….had to pay the bills…a project was supposed to have been offered to me a few days ago that would have given me more than enough money to get to indulge myself…as the horoscope said…so how will i be able to earn my break? money from the comic strip usually comes late….i don’t expect to get it till next week friday…..

hahaha gumimik ako?!? weird coz i only go out once a year…and that’s to watch fete de la musique….kaso nadagdagan pa ng isa(malakas ka sa amin ‘insan hwehehehehe)

My sister and i went to cafe saguijo today to watch my cousin des’ band perform(lickety split)…it was my first time to hear them perform…oks naman i liked what i heard and i’m not saying it coz she’s my cousin….they really are good…you might even mistake them for a foreign band if you didn’t see them sing…;p sayang lang coz they’re vocalist had the colds…

well my sister and were only planning to stay till they finished their run…but it turns out the next band’s guitarist was a classmate of hers from college(coincidence?)…the guy had this "inimbita ko ba si anna ngayon?" look…and i think he was wondering who i was coz he kept looking at me and wondering why my sister didn’t introduce us(HWAHWAHWA)…

pero mukhang madadagdagan na naman ng gimik….there’s another cool concert coming this friday at 8:00pm at the podium…nood tayo mga pre "Pinoy Blonde OST Concert" the bands performing are : radiocative sago project, kapatid, sugarfree, kjwan, mayonnaise, imago, hellbender,pinwheel and twisted halo…nood tayo!!!!

you should see this guys works man….astig e!!! nakaka-inggit nga…i wish i had the luxury to take those kinds of pics….but unfotunately i have no camera to work with(sira na naman yung lens ng nikon fm10 ko e)…i also got these cool lenses for manual camers(2 wide angle lenses & a 300mm telephoto lens) sayang lang kasi its for a canon camera…i doubt if id ever get to shoot again…maybe i’ll just go back to sketching….unfotunately i’ve got no models….anyone interested? drop me a line…0917-5320447/02-8388650…although i’ve got nothing to pay you….i could hardly support myself with my allowance for making comics…..;p

i was reading a friend’s BLOG an hour ago when i came upon an old entry of hers….it narrated how she met with a guy friend whom she hadn’t seen in a while and had this very awkward evening together…(yep fiery dragon, its yours  ;p)

well that entry struck me…why? kasi po "torpe" rin ako e….see i’ve gotten into meetings with the v.p. of a certain local newspaper/tabloid, met with different ranking personel of the indonesian embassy, performed infront of different audiences, taken different sports, even went to a lookal gym to help me enhance my personality/communication skills…but i still find it hard to express my feelings when i get struck by a girl…

all of the girls i’ve had a relationship with could attest to that…i suck at courting…until now, i don’t get it…and i usually can’t find the right words to express my feelings to someone….someone once told me its because of the fear of rejection that makes a person "torpe"(i always think i’l ge rejected even before i court someone)….other people might think that its because their desire is more sexually driven than emotional….believe me its far easier to express ones’ feelings when its sexually driven…;p 

maybe your friends’ kindda like me dood….torpe..so that makes one point…here’s another…believe me when i say you have a very strong aura…kahit ako sindak sa iyo (keep in mind that most guys would flee when they see me ;p)…that definately adds up to why the guy’s having a hard time expressing himself…oh yeah, you’re also very very beautifull (inside & out)…so now i’m thinking that guy must have been dying inside that night you two went out ;p

A dear, dear friend told me this morning that she has copies of annie, marry poppins,etc…in dvd….yay!(stupid me, she actually commented on a previous journal…and i didn’t notice ;p) i can’t wait to get a chance to watch them….funny coz i thought no one bothered to read my blog….;p

i think we still have a betamax tape of annie, the sound of music and marry poppins hidden somewhere in our house….i haven’t seen it in so many years since the players have all broken down and last i remember, the tapes already have fungus growing on the film reel…..not very carefull with the tapes huh ( hey, they’ve been here since i was a kid…i didn’t know film had to be taken care of then….;p)

i think my mom’s still pretty much hyped after watching my fair lady with me last monday….i still hear her humming the tunes whenever she passes by…

oh yeah, i got to watch H2G2 last saturday…it was fun man….i think i laughed from the beginning till the movie ended…i just loved bill nighy man…that guy is on sick actor….really funny bloke…

i also went to see batman begins this afternoon….cool movie…yep i now agree with all the others that this batman movie was better than it predecessors…it has a bit more personality and intellect now….no more of those flashy razzle dazzle weird gizmos….its more gritty and the action’s a bit more upclose and personal….

with what happened this morning at mass, i just had to go out and see batman…see today was the first time i sang the bass part for the mass songs alone…it scared the hell out of me…man…at some points i could feel my heart was about to burst out of my throat from all the tension…there were even times when my voice just wouldn’t cooperate….just goes to show how inexperienced i am at this….more practice i guess…but first i have to get the piano in our house fixed….;p

i was doing my usual biking after a few hours of weight lifting a while ago when two kids approached me, a girl and a boy…they came to me at different time intervals but what struck me was why they tried so hard to catch up on me and talk to me….

the little boy was first…he waited for me at the end of the road. as i passed by, he tried his best to catch up only to ask me if i wanted to race….i agreed and after the short race(he gave up a few seconds after we started) he proclaimed me the victor and went off on his way…

the second girl then came to me a few minutes later asking me a different question…."kuya, ba’t ka parating pa-ikot-ikot dito sa village natin?" i smiled and gave my usual explanation on weight loss and cardio excercises… she smiled and went on her way…

funny how differently girls and boys of the same age think and act…with girls its more intelectual, with boys physical…

i got myself a dvd of my fair lady after my usual sunday choir thinggie at the edsa shrine…didn’t get to watch until this morning and boy was i blown away…..i haven’t seen this flick since i was a kid…but the music has been with me since the last i saw it( i was either humming or singing to the songs from beginning till end man….) so now think i’m in a bit of a movie musical addiction thing…i got this longing to see those movie musicals i grew up watching(sound of music, annie, marry poppins)…. any one got a dvd of these movies they can share?

oh yeah…i know i haven’t gone and seen Beauty and the Beast yet, i want to see it, i really do…and i will

This year’s Fete was both the best and worst i’ve seen since the first time i went to this music festival….it was the best musically…..it had the most number of bands performing  and also had the most diverse choices of music(siguro lang dahil sa dami na ba naman ng banda diba?)….what i didn’t like however was the fact that  the event has turned rough….it was even too physical at times…i’d understand if the crowd would go nuts and start slam dancing while listening at the rock or alternative stage, but at the world music stage? pare, mali na ata yun diba?…..and a lot of guys were going around the whole venue trying to make hipo…so now i’m thinking if things don’t get back to the way they were a few years back, i won’t be taking any more female friends and family to the fete or i might not go altogether

hwoooh….i finally had the chance to see the french film festival this year….i didn’t get to see everything on the line-up but i did get to see two pretty cool movies today…

oo nga pala kita-kita tayong lahat sa "Fete de la Music" sa darating na sabado…the whole program is slated to start at 3:00pm and will run till 4:00 am on sunday….woohooo

i had a short chat with my aunt on the phone today…she kept on praising me for this artwork my sister and i did for her birthday party last sunday…i must admitt that yes it was rushed and personally i was a bit unsatisfied by my work, but as everyone else has said one must take into consideration that it is in fact 20ft x 5 ft and we only had 3 days to finish it(felt like 2 with the rain)…she also loved how i managed to entartain most of the guests by singing some broadway and michael bubble songs (even though i didn’t know the lyrics to most of the songs they wanted me to sing and someone was secretly telling me the lyrics as the music played)…then she asked me with all the talents(drawing, singing,dancing) i have what else would i want…?

i’d be crazy to say i don’t want or need anything…but i did ;p

working on that painting sure took its toll on me…i haven’t been 100% since sunday’s party and have been relying on several packets of extra joss just to get through the day…i tried lifting weights and i couldn’t even lift my ususal weights….;p
