i’ve been downloading some fairly old computer games recently, games like jagged alliance, x-com 1&2, lemmings 2 and battle isle to name a few. found out that they can be played on windows xp if you have a dos emulator so i decided to get copies and i’ve been hooked for almost a week…man i miss running those games on my old computer (486 dx2 with 4mb ram) which was considered top of the line then save for the fact i had a monochrome monitor(didn’t really matter though coz as everyone knows, i’m color blind ;p).
i didn’t realize how better these old games were till i had the chance to play them again(x-com rocks!!!).
i remember seeing battle isle 2 for the first time when i slept over at a friend’s house…didn’t get to play it and i forgot to ask what game it was. finally got to play it last night and boy was i impressed.
good thing about these old games is they can easily be downloaded as most of them are less than 10megs.
….man, i wish someone could make a game that can actually match up to the quality of game-play most of the old games offered. most games nowadays are either clones or cheap impersonations of these classics….can’t they think of anything new anymore?
till then i guess i’ll be playing more of these oldies ;p
ignition will be delayed for some time people…there’s been some difficulty getting sponsors to cover for the additional expenses we got from the increase in prices for printing….got the news from our publisher this week. sorry to those of you who have been wondering why we haven’t released issue 3.
that doesn’t mean we’ve given up though…we’re currently working on issue 4…production has been a little faster than usual with occasional slowdowns due to my updating certain pages of the 3rd issue so it won’t look too outdated (we’ve added a game&dvd review section as of the 3rd issue)
here’s hoping issue 3 comes out before july….ipagdasal niyo kami….PLEASE! 
…i caught a snake here inside my house…was really weird since the last time i saw one within our village was 10-15 years ago…back then the lot beside ours was still unoccuppied…
the snake wasn’t all that big…looks like a baby….not yet sure whether or not this critter’s venomous or not…i’m thinking of keeping it till it dies…not sure what it feeds on though ;P
